Available Therapies
Acupuncture
Acupuncture therapy (Electro-stimulation acupuncture, Myofascial
acupuncture, Auricular acupuncture, Facial rejuvenation acupuncture) is
used to stimulate a specific point on the body with a sterile,
stainless steel, disposable needle. The aim is to bring balance by
causing micro-trauma to the body, heightening the body’s healing
ability in response to the needling. Different theories and techniques
for diagnosis and treatment plans are available. A specific method is
determined based on the patient’s condition and response to treatment.
Acupressure, Reflexolgy, Massage
Acupressure, reflexology, and massage therapies are often used in
conjunction with Acupuncture treatments. Acupressure therapy has the
same concept as Acupuncture, performed without the needles. Pressure is
manually applied to a specific point depending on the patient’s
condition. Reflexology therapy is based on a different system from the
main meridian theory. It targets different organs through stimulating
Microsystems that exist in the body, such as the hands, feet, and ears.
For example, foot reflexology has recently gained popularity, which
stimulates different parts of the feet that reflect different organs
and body areas. By stimulating and massaging these areas, the
problematic areas of the body can be treated. Besides treating systemic
issues, reflexology can treat local problems like Achilles Tendinitis
and Plantar fasciitis. Massage Therapy is a well accepted therapy,
commonly utilized today by many patients to relieve musculoskeletal
problems. When used in conjunction with Acupuncture or independently,
these therapies can help to alleviate or resolve numerous health
problems.
Cupping, Moxibustion, Heat Therapy
Cupping therapy is a method used to increase circulation using vacuum
suctioned cups. It is indicated for musculoskeletal problems as well as
common colds and other systemic issues. Moxibustion, also known as
“Moxa” in short, is a therapy used for warming and circulating the Qi
and blood of the body. An herb called mugwort is used to burn on the
point, in order to ameliorate cold and damp symptoms. Moxa therapy is
treatment of choice for patients with weak constitution.

metabolism and digestion, controls appetite and soothes hunger emotions.
Cosmetic Acupuncture
Cosmetic Acupuncture for facial rejuvenation, or facial acupuncture, is
the best choice for those looking for an alternative, non-invasive way
to treat wrinkles, frown lines, crow’s feet, as well as acne, rosacea,
and psoriasis. Clusters of tiny needles are placed on the local areas
of the face which relax facial muscle tension and improve overall skin
tone by increasing blood supply and stimulating collagen production.
Also in line with traditional Chinese Medicine, the treatments balance
the body’s energy thereby relieving stress and strengthening the immune
system. The initial treatment sessions are scheduled weekly. After the
initial round of treatments, monthly treatments, “tune-ups", are
scheduled.
Breast Augmentation
A natural alternative to breast enlargement surgeries, acupuncture will
signal the body during the appropriate periods of a woman's hormone
cycle to increase deposition of fat cells in the breasts. Treatment
duration must include at least three menustrual cycles to realize
results, which is usually 3 months consecutively. Sessions are
scheduled according to the woman's hormone cycle.
