Different theories and techniques for diagnosis and treatment plans are available. A specific method is determined based on the patient’s condition and response to treatment.

Acupressure, Reflexolgy, Massage
Acupressure, reflexology, and massage therapies are often used in conjunction with Acupuncture treatments. Acupressure therapy has the same concept as Acupuncture, performed without the needles. Pressure is manually applied to a specific point depending on the patient’s condition. Reflexology therapy is based on a different system from the main meridian theory. It targets different organs through stimulating Microsystems that exist in the body, such as the hands, feet, and ears. For example, foot reflexology has recently gained popularity, which stimulates different parts of the feet that reflect different organs and body areas. By stimulating and massaging these areas, the problematic areas of the body can be treated. Besides treating systemic issues, reflexology can treat local problems like Achilles Tendinitis and Plantar fasciitis. Massage Therapy is a well accepted therapy, commonly utilized today by many patients to relieve musculoskeletal problems. When used in conjunction with Acupuncture or independently, these therapies can help to alleviate or resolve numerous health problems.
